The community of practice for activists and advocates offers a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and the exchange of ideas between activists and advocates practicing sociocracy. This is a safe and supportive environment to discuss our goals and ideas, and look for ways to create solutions that promote social justice, sustainability, and rejuvenation. Connecting with other activists and advocates is a way to explore how sociocracy can help us advance our work and create systems that are in alignment with our humanitarian values.
Community of Practice: Activists and Advocates is open to any activists practicing sociocracy.
You can come to one meeting without being a SoFA member to try it out. After your first meeting you will need to become a supporting or working member of SoFA ($50/year), a member of an organization that holds organizational membership, or sign up for the monthly $5 Community of Practice membership fee (which allows you to attend any number of Communities of Practice each month). Sign up for the monthly $5 Community of Practice membership or see How to Become a SoFA Member.
The next meeting of this Community of Practice will be Wednesday, April 5th, 1pm – 2pm EST (18:00-19:00h UTC), and they will be held on the first Wednesday of every month after that.
See your local time zones below for our next meeting date/time.
This Community of Practice is coordinated by Molly Grover of SoFA’s Activists Circle.
