The opportunity

 For a second time, we’re opening our doors for people to observe a sociocratic meeting. And we’re still a little nervous about it!

But we also think, what the heck, we know how to have awesome meetings and we teach meetings, so why not show you a real meeting? We have nothing to hide 🙂

The plan:

  • 2 days before the meeting, you will receive a quick 5min video message to prepare you for the meeting so you understand the context a little bit. If you watch it before the meeting, you’ll be much better oriented.
  • You can attend the meeting with your camera and mic off.
  • You can add your questions into a file during the meeting.
  • After the meeting, the circle facilitator, Laine, and the circle leader, Ted, stay on for 30min after the meeting to answer your questions.

Who this is for:

  • Circle facilitators who want to see how to add more flow to their meetings
  • New explorers of sociocracy who want to see how the sociocratic process looks in practice.

 

The meeting

 This is a meeting of one of our department circles, Content Circle, our circle that oversees all the different outward-facing activities.
