I have lived in Albuquerque, NM for 35 years where I raised my 2 sons, grew my physical therapy, yoga therapy, and trauma practice. I spend a lot of time in the mountains of NM and in the Pacific NW where my sons and grandchildren live.

Music, time in nature, fiber art, spiritual practice, friends and family are cornerstones in my life. I am currently putting a lot of time and energy and learning into growing a Cohousing community. The blessings and challenges are abundant.

When we first began exploring the use of Sociocracy in CohousingAbq, I was immediately touched with how much this paradigm is in alignment with my spiritual practices. Whether it’s meditation, yoga, African music, fiber arts, parenting or grandparenting….it all feels like practice. Sociocracy feels like an additional tool to practice patience and tolerance. To find a model of organization and governance that holds equivalence, mindfully listening, and getting work done is a breath of fresh air. I welcome the opportunity to learn more.
