Comparing Sociocracy and Consensus through the lens of the Care&Counsel circle in Cherry Hill Cohousing. Care&Counsel handles conflict. Conflict often occurs from the desire to be right. If there is a right, there must be a wrong. The right/wrong paradigm is what interferes with a more flowing, harmonious community, fueled by good will.
Bio
Gina is a member of Cherry Hill Cohousing where she participates in many aspects of the sociocractic governerance system. She is known for saying “Conflict is natural. Expect it.” Gina wrote a book called Heart to Heart – 3 Systems for Staying Connected – A Manual for Parents and Teachers.
