Bob Kosse

My name is Bob Kosse. I live with my family (wife, son and daughter) in beautiful Rhenen. On the edge of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. After my education in Business Informatics, I ended up in different roles. From software developer to project manager. I soon found out that project management, as it is often done, doesn’t work that well. I came into contact with the Agile philosophy. In my opinion, this is the vision of product and direction, but too little attention is paid to the people side. Collaboration, autonomy and self-management are important concepts in the Agile philosophy, but are not really supported. In my search for a solution, I came into contact with Sociocracy in 2016. A – in my opinion – a wonderful way to allow passengers to conduct self-management and self-organization on very different levels. I believe Sociocratic ideas help organizations to grow and not lose sight of each other and the world. From my personal contribution I like to contribute to making the world better and more beautiful, whereby we pay attention to ourselves, each other and the environment.

Mijn naam is Bob Kosse. Ik woon met mijn gezin (vrouw, zoon en dochter) in het mooie Rhenen. Aan de rand van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Na mijn opleiding Bedrijfskundig Informatica ben ik in verschillende rollen terecht gekomen. Van software ontwikkelaar tot projectmanager. Al snel realiseerde ik me dat projectmanagement zoals dat vaak gedaan wordt niet zo goed werkt. Ik kwam in aanraking met het Agile gedachtegoed. Hierbij klopt naar mijn idee de visie op product en richting maar wordt te weinig aandacht besteed aan de mens-kant. Samenwerken, autonomie en zelfsturing zijn belangrijke concepten in het Agile gedachtegoed maar worden niet daadwerkelijk ondersteund. In mijn zoektocht naar een oplossing kwam ik in 2016 in aanraking met Sociocracy. Een – naar mijn idee – prachtige manier om zelfsturing en zelforganisatie toe te passen op heel veel verschillende vlakken. Ik geloof dat het Sociocratisch gedachtegoed helpt om organisaties te laten groeien en daarbij elkaar en de wereld niet uit het oog te verliezen. Ik werk vanuit mijn persoonlijke bijdrage graag mee aan het beter en mooier maken van de wereld waarin we leven met aandacht voor onszelf, elkaar en de omgeving.
