I’m an environmental professional, Biologist from the Universidad Veracruzana and hold a Master’s Degree in Science, Policy and Environmental Management from the University of Central Europe (Hungary) and the University of Manchester (United Kingdom).
I have experience in project management in rural development, conservation, and sustainable tourism, and in the design and facilitation of training processes in rural and indigenous communities on sustainability, best practices, tourism in Protected Areas, business models, co-design of market-based tourism experiences, always with a collective and cooperative approach. I have participated in capacity building for community enterprises, protected area managers, nature tourism guides, and NGOs from 12 protected areas in Mexico, and worked in Switzerland, Greece, South Africa, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Argentina, El Salvador, Cuba, and Dominican Republic, collaborating with public institutions and NGOs, including the Ramsar Convention, German Development Cooperation (GIZ), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), The Nature Conservancy, and the South African Environmental Observation Network (SAEON).

I live in Veracruz, my home town, and I design and lead experiential and outdoor education expeditions, and collaborate in sustainable tourism projects with rural communities in Mexico. I’m an outdoor and conservation enthusiast, nature lover, fun seeker and voracious traveler.
