Kelvin Klatt

Hi there, my name is Kelvin. I live with my partner Natalie and our six months old daughter Mira in Dwingeloo, a beautiful by forests surrounded town in the Netherlands. Most of my ‘working life’ I worked as a business and management consultant, focusing in the past few years on Agile project management. In addition, I sometimes participate with Extinction Rebellion Netherlands in a blockade of a busy road to put pressure on our government to take the measures necessary to stop the global destruction of Earth’s life-enabling ecological systems. I strongly believe that today’s world and societal problems are related to the lack of authority people have to improve the societal systems they are part of. Therefore, blocking roads seams to be the only way that is left for me towards societal change. Sociocracy, on the contrary, provides people the tools to find comfort in making their own collective rules, improving their own governance system. It’s my ambition to empower people to continuously adapt their systems to the collective needs of the group, community, society, and world they are part of. Joining SoFA’s Sociocracy Academy fits beautifully to that ambition, I think 🙂
