Thomas Kemps

My mission is to strive for a just and regenerative society for all. This led me to study radical and grassroots politics, then to join Extinction Rebellion, a nonviolent civil resistance movement against the climate and ecological collapse, where I learned about decentralized governance and trained and coached many groups around the world.

Since then, I dived into learning and practising collaborative and distributed governance systems and tools in every place possible.

Currently, I’m involved in a bunch of organizations, including a small consultancy firm that aims at bringing the Italian cinema industry to net-zero GHG emissions by 2030, where I hold the GHG Accountant and Organizational Change roles.

In 2022, I’m determined to improve sociocracy training and coaching skills.

I live in Rome, Italy, together with my partner Anna and my dog friends Tufo and Maki.
